Lascar essence is the pure respect of the varietal and the direct expression of the fruits.
Lascar is the most active volcano of the northern Chilean Andes. It lies east of the Salarde Atacama and immediately west of Aguas Calientes volcano. Frequent small-to-moderate explosive eruptions have been recorded from Lascar in the historical time since the mid-19th century, along with periodic larger eruptions that produced ashfall hundreds of kilometres away from the volcano. The largest historical eruption of Lascar took place in 1993.
