OUR STORY
From a lifelong passion for wine to a trusted Asian network
Founder Roderic Proniewski is a French national with a Polish surname who has called Singapore home for more than 30 years. His relationship with wine began in his parents’ cellar in France and grew through visits to vineyards around his hometown of Provence, where he learned the winemaking journey from harvest to bottling.
Before establishing himself in Singapore, Roderic worked in logistics, including wine-shipment handling, and with Champagne houses in France. His broad industry exposure, wine education and international judging experience became the professional foundation of Asia Wine Network.
In 1995, he founded his first wine company in Singapore, Parker’s Wine, and later established Asia Wine Network. Working with winemakers, winery owners and wine representatives from around the world, the business brought highly regarded wines at compelling value to wine lovers in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Through the years, Roderic has continued to support the F&B industry with his expertise and wine-distribution experience, building long-term relationships between Asia Wine Network, its customers, wineries and industry partners.
Industry recognition
Asia Wine Network was named Wine Distributor of the Year at the World Gourmet Summit Awards of Excellence in 2017 and 2019. Roderic has also received the title Chevalier de L’Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne and served as a judge at international wine competitions.
