Wine Notes

Translucent ruby with a youthful strawberry edge. The nose display a vivid flourish of raspberry, cranberry and red cherry aromas with discreet roasted nuts.

The palate is an intricately structured wine with a delicate entry, blossoming into a poised concentration of wild berry flavours and oak spice. Great complexity and richness before ending with a long, finely textured finish.

The 1685 range is presented in a unique curvaceous bottle inspired by the traditional bottle design used through the ages and commemorates the year of the original title deeds. These wines express the style and class that is particular to our estate and coastal surrounds, with special focus on purity of fruit lavished with measured modern winemaking for depth, breadth and balance.
