France - Gerard Bertrand

Gerard Bertrand (GB) is a former rugby player while he discovered the passion for wine when he harvested the first grapes in Corbieres.

He continued to hunt for the best terroirs of his region after 12 years of apprenticeship at the side of his late father, Georges Bertrand. Shortly about five years after the passing on of his father, he created Gerard Bertrand Wines to propagate wines from the South of France.

Pioneering the sustainable development, and a leader in the field of premium wines from the South of France, his wines are awarded prestigiously by IWC, Wine Enthusiast, Bettane & Desseauve and the famous French Wine Magazine, La Revue du Vin.

His wines were recognised and offered to many international travel trade partners such as Air France, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Royal Caribbean, Eurostar, Celebrity Cruises, Dufry, Dubai Duty-Free and more.

With 16 estates located on the most remarkable terroirs of the South of France, Gerard Bertrand is the Ambassador of the great wines of Languedoc throughout the world. Not to mention, GB is the only wine producer to be the owner of the Art de Vivre (Art of Living) trademark.
